The Lottery is a Tax on the Poor
Reader's Digest has a great article on the lottery system in the United States. During this down economy, states are looking increasingly to the lottery to help them make their budget. The problem is that the lottery gets a lionshare of its income from the poorest in this nation. It just seems wrong.
